A large variety of traps and puzzlesĭo not buy this game, I heard that the legacy collection (pre 1.0 update game) is pretty good because it isn’t the remastered version, but I just wanted to refund as soon as possible.One of the first games ever downloaded from Steam, just going back to it 6 years later and it has been a whole different game! Would recommend to anyone wanting to do some sneaking aroundAs of this time, the game has been a bit more balanced out. The farm map is garbage, there is some weird turret thing that shoots at you? That was the nail in the coffin for me. I heard that the AI is garbage too, and that the AI is either completely oblivious, or like a hunter going around the building hunting its prey! The AI is also like 100% accurate, and even in the dark from like 30m away they still hit you. The gunplay is horrible, when you get shot your screen gets a black border and the game zooms out for some reason. I played the game for 29 minutes, and refunded it. The movement feels super weird and unnatural, and one thing that really pisses me off is how if you open a door, its so easy to get caught in it and then you have to unstuck yourself. In this game the movement is god awful, you can’t change your field of view and it’s stuck at like 70, so it feels like you are 2 inches from your monitor when playing a normal game. The graphics were pretty but I still had to run it on POTATO PC mode because the game is so unoptimized! My gaming laptop is pretty good and can pull like 90 fps on Insurgency Sandstorm, which looks way better than this and is multiplayer and is considered hard to run! Another thing to touch on is the movement.
The game takes up way too much space for what it offered (30gb). This game was one of the worst I have every played because of how unpolished it feels.
